It is my personal opinion that, every doctor should tell all their diabetic patients about ketones/ketoacidosis. Itâs a potentially dangerous diabetic complication, and it gets over looked all the time. Both type 1 & 2 can get ketoacidosis. In this video, I talk about the importance of having ketone test strips handy for emergencies. Sorry for the minor mispellings in the video, too much work to redo for itunes/youtube.
